Another trip to Dundee Law on 17th of May to see what I could find. Weather started off sunny but wind got up and sun disappeared as morning progressed. Gave up around lunchtime.

Lily Leaf Beetle (Lilioceris lilii) An idea I've had for some time is to try to document as much of Dundee's wildlife as possible, something I feel I've managed to do relatively well with the birds likely to be seen around the city. Butterflies too have been relatively easy to document, as have the rather more limited numbers of species of mammals and amphibians. I bought a book on pan-species listing fairly recently, but I don't really have the time to even attempt to document EVERYTHING (and plants/fungi/trees/lichens/mosses etc don't really interest me at all). Instead, I've decided to compromise a bit by trying to photograph and identify (hopefully correctly!) as many of the insects, spiders etc as I can find. (If you can help with any missing IDs marked with *, or incorrect ones, please leave a comment).
